What we’ll do

• Here, i'll be showing each participant how to shoot and create masterful images of the famous Beaches in Malibu. First we'll all meet at a pre-determined location and will then take a few minutes to discuss a few good tips about the lighting and some great camera angles too. We will then set up to shoot and I’ll offer a few ideas of how I approach shooting pictures and how I get the award-winning images that I do. Then, as the sun moves across the sky toward sunset, we'll be setting up our cameras and getting different angles of the scene and how the lighting dramatically changes our images. We will be shooting various exposures and angles throughout our time with the biggest component being that each participant will create and capture images that I often do, and not just random snap shots.

What else you should know

• Make sure you bring fully charged camera and flash batteries. A lightweight tripod and a jacket. It can get a bit cool in the canyons of Malibu. Also maybe bring a beach towel and perhaps comfortable shoes too.

• a small beach towel or something similar

• proper and comfortable walking/hiking shoes

Where you'll be

• In this experience, we'll visit the famous Pacific Coast Highway in north Malibu in all of her stunning glory. It'll be fun and very rewarding too. And if you’re like me and love sunsets and creating emotion in your pictures, then you’ll have a great time with this experience.
