Everyone! Whether you're an amateur with your first camera or a seasoned professional, you’ll be exposed to amazing locations where everyone can take advantage of its beauty.

Typical Locations: Zagreb, Rovinj, Pula, Zadar, Split, Hvar and Plitvitce Lakes National Park

TOUR INCLUDES:

  • (8) nights of double occupancy lodging at 4* hotels or private villas. Couples and families welcome for an additional fee. (please enquire for additional fees)

  • (8) days of amazing photography locations

  • (8) days of breakfasts and lunches and (2) dinners (welcome dinner & goodbye dinner)

  • Transportation to all Photo Locations while on itinerary

  • All non-alcoholic beverages during breakfasts and lunches (waters, sodas, teas, etc)

  • (8) days of expert photography guidance and instruction by Shawn & AnneMarie

ITINERARY - Subject to change without notice due to weather or unforeseen circumstances

DAY 1: ZAGREB CITY CENTER - TRAKOSCAN CASTLE —> PULA

Welcome! to your Croatian photo journey. Today we will meet at the hotel in Zagreb’s City Center at 9am in our hotel lobby. (Hotel information sent in your welcome packet) From our hotel, we will set out for our day’s photo journey to the famed, Trakoscan Castle. Days end we arrive in Pula on the Istrian Peninsula.

DAY 2: PULA —> ROVINJ

We head out early to shoot at the epic Roman Gladiator Coliseum. Then at days end, we are at our first UNESCO World Heritage site of our trip, the village of Rovinj. While there, we will photograph golden and blue hour of the village Casanova once called home.

DAY 3: ROVINJ —> ZADAR

Today, we head south a few hours to the ancient Roman Cathedral and Ruins in the famous walled seaside city of Zadar. Stopping along the seaside drive in many little quaint villages.

DAY 4: ZADAR

Today we have a private guide showing us inside the famous walled city of Zadar and weather permitting, we will also shoot the most stunning of sunsets in all of the Dalmatian Coast.

DAY 5: ZADAR —> SPLIT

Today we will be heading to the famed city of Split, including a trip to another UNESCO World Heritage site, the Palace of Emperor Diocletian. While in the palace, we will visit the same locations as the hit TV show, Game of Thrones. Also, we will hear some great stories about life in the region from our private guide that grew up in the Palace. At sunset, we will make our way across the promenade to set up cameras for Golden hour shooting the palace and its colorful Riva (promenade).

DAY 6: SPLIT —> HVAR —> SPLIT

Today we take a one hour ferry ride over to explore the world famous cobblestoned village of Hvar Town, on Island Hvar. With a visual history before you, you’ll be in the presence of absolute amazement photographing some of the most rich history you’ll ever see.

DAY 7: SPLIT —> PLITVITCE LAKES NATIONAL PARK

Today our journey takes us to our final UNESCO World Heritage site of Plitvitce Lakes National Park. After arriving here, we check into our hotel room and meet up for an afternoon walk and shoot in the park, and then later we meet for a group dinner.

DAY 8: PLITVITCE LAKES NATIONAL PARK —> ZAGREB

Today we will explore the park early going to the most magical places and enjoy some of the worlds finest landscapes and waterfalls in the world. After spending the morning here, we have pour lunch and head to the capital city of Zagreb. In Zagreb we walk and photograph around the city center of the Josip Ban Jelecic Trg (town square).

DAY 9: ZAGREB CITY CENTER —> ZAGREB INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Today you are free to do as you like. You can transport back to the Zagreb International Airport for your departure flights, or to your next hotel if you’re staying in country longer.

WE ASK THAT OUR GUESTS ARRIVE TO AND STAY LONGER IN ZAGREB A DAY OR MORE BEFORE THEIR TRIP STARTS AND CONCLUDES. WE WANT TO BE COURTEOUS TO THE ENTIRE GROUP AND STAY ON SCHEDULE. WE RECOMMEND YOUR STAYING AT THE HOTEL DUBROVNIK IN ZAGREB’S CITY CENTER. BUT MANY OTHERS ARE AVAILABLE AS WELL. JUST ASK…
